His experience includes brownfield regeneration, large-scale masterplanning and the repositioning of underutilised assets through disciplined underwriting and structured execution.

As Group CEO, Eann is responsible for setting Valad’s capital allocation strategy and overseeing risk management across the Group. He maintains active oversight of investment decisions and works closely with partners and stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle to ensure alignment and delivery against strategic objectives.

Co Founder

Lucas has been directly involved in the value creation of over £380 million in gross development value across residential and mixed-use schemes. His experience spans origination, underwriting and strategic structuring

Lucas leads multidisciplinary teams across planning, commercial and investment functions, ensuring opportunities are strategically positioned and progressed through each stage of the investment lifecycle. This includes packaging transactions for funding, managing stakeholder relationships and maintaining discipline around risk, return and capital structuring

Lucas alongside Eann oversees the business plan formulation and capital deployment decisions, ensuring investments are aligned with Valad’s strategic objectives and risk parameters

Head of Investor Relations

John specialises in structuring and raising capital across debt, equity and more complex financing solutions, supporting businesses and real estate projects through sophisticated funding arrangements. Through his role at Sedulo, he works closely with Valad to advise on capital strategy, funding structures and transaction execution across the Group’s investment and development activities.

He brings cross-sector experience spanning real estate, green energy, FinTech and healthcare, with expertise in structured finance, credit enhancement mechanisms and institutional transaction advisory. His background includes working on large-scale infrastructure funding as well as high-growth investment platforms, combining technical financial capability with strategic insight.

John holds the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC), Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) and the CII Certificate in Insurance (IF1). His approach is grounded in disciplined financial structuring, regulatory understanding and long-term relationship management, supporting Valad’s capital objectives across multiple investment strategies.

Investor Relations - UAE

Yves is responsible for Valad’s investor relations and capital engagement activities outside the UK and Europe, with particular emphasis on the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates. In this role, he leads the development and management of strategic relationships with sovereign investors, family offices, institutional partners and private capital sources across key international markets.

Drawing on deep experience in global capital markets and cross-border investment strategy, Yves articulates Valad’s investment propositions, market insights and sector strategies to a diverse international investor base. He works closely with senior leadership to align global capital engagement with Valad’s strategic growth priorities and to support institutional participation in the Group’s Living, residential and mixed-use platforms.

Yves’s focus is on fostering long-term, relationship-driven partnerships, enhancing Valad’s profile in core offshore markets, and facilitating capital flows that support disciplined execution of the Company’s investment objectives.

Political Relations

Andrew Gifford is a senior political adviser and public affairs strategist with deep experience in UK government relations. He previously served as an adviser to Rt Hon David Steel during his leadership of the Liberal Party, bringing extensive insight into parliamentary processes, policy engagement and stakeholder influence.

At Valad, Andrew is responsible for overseeing political and external affairs, leading engagement with governmental bodies, regulatory authorities and public sector stakeholders to support the Company’s strategic objectives. His role includes monitoring legislative and policy developments that may impact real estate investment, planning and infrastructure, and advising senior leadership on political risk and opportunities in the operating environment.

Drawing on his established network and understanding of public policy dynamics, Andrew supports Valad’s interface with policymakers and community partners to ensure informed, proactive engagement across the UK and European markets.

Partner - London

Tom is an investor and strategic partner with a strong track record across commercial real estate, having been involved in the delivery of over 1 million square feet of projects, predominantly within the M25. His focus centres on planning-led value creation across commercial, retail, hotel and mixed-use schemes, with a disciplined approach to site identification, underwriting and asset repositioning.

He applies detailed financial analysis and market insight to unlock value in prime and established locations including Chelsea, Westminster, Fulham, Bermondsey, Kingston, Surbiton and Epsom.

In addition to development activity, Tom manages a private lending and investment portfolio, deploying capital across both London and select regional markets, supporting a range of structured real estate opportunities.
