The Listed Building is located within a designated conservation area in Manchester City Centre and was previously allocated for educational use. A strategic review identified the opportunity to reposition the asset through a comprehensive change of use and redevelopment strategy.
A full suite of feasibility studies, development appraisals and investment analyses was undertaken to assess viability and optimise the proposed scheme. A detailed planning application were subsequently prepared and submitted.
Planning permission was secured from the local authority for conversion to residential apartments and office accommodation, together with the necessary Listed Building Consent, enabling the asset to be repositioned.
